India Exports More Than 45,000 Tonnes of Onions Following Ban Lift

Are you looking to Onions importers? Since the restriction on outward exports was removed early this month, India has shipped more than 45,000 tonnes of onions, the country's highest official said on Wednesday. Farmers were relieved by these exports after restrictions were put in place to maintain stable domestic supply before the general elections. The largest vegetable exporter in the world banned the bulb's exports in December of last year and then renewed it in March in response to a spike in prices brought on by slow production.
