Thompson Rivers University (TRU) was set up in 1970 as an open academic and Research University. Situated in Kamloops, BC, Canada is the main campus of the college. Numerous worldwide pioneers and individuals in business have moved on from TRU. It has separation and online training programs with TRU Open Learning division.

The debut conference of TRU was hung on March 31, 2005. Nancy Greene Raine was the main chancellor of TRU. The primary authority visit at the college was made by Prime Minister Paul Martin. TRU’s Kamloops and Williams Lake campus are on the Secwepemc people groups’ region in British Columbia. The college is found where the North Thompson and South Thompson waterways meet. On-campus, 14,000 students are concentrating an assortment of projects.

TRU gives its students academic research, extracurricular exercises for network administrations. Most students from will be from China, India and Saudi Arabia with 70 nations. 10% of the student populace is native students.
